Are you anticipating any career breaks in the next two years?
Have you completed your local post graduate examination? (post Graduate Degree)
Have you cleared at least PART 1 of the UK Membership examination?
Have you done an English examination for the UK ? (IELTS or EOL)
Have you scored on average 7.5 in the IELTS?
It is best you make a choice about specialty and your field of interest before applying for this post. You will need to work in Medicine and attempt to get through your Membership during the two years you are here
You cannot apply for this post if you are currently in the UK. You have to return to your country of origin and apply
You cannot apply if you have failed the PLAB examination before. If you have made progress and you have a University post graduate degree you may be eligible. Please contact me.
You need to have worked for at least 3 of the last 5 years to be eligible. Of this you must have worked in the last 12 months
It is probably best to delay your application if you are anticipating a career break. This post is for 2 years only and it is vital that you make the best use of this post
You need to have either a local post graduate degree recognized by a university (eg MD/ DnB) or the PART 1 Membership examination (UK)
You will need to pass a recognised English test as detailed in the GMC. Please note that you require this both for the GMC and UK Border agency ( VISA)
