Consultants
Biography
Trained in Christian Medical college Vellore in India I qualified in 1991 as a doctor. The Alma mater of my medical college was to provide care and compassion in addition to providing excellent care and I have carried this throughout my career. I did my postgraduation MD in 1997 and MRCP in 2000. Having completed my specialist qualification in 2007 ( Diabetes and Endocrinology) I moved to Manchester and joined as a consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology. With a passion for education, I teach medical students and hold sessions for users to create experts who manage their own condition I am also involved in commercial and academic clinical trials.
Currently my interests lie in helping people who have symptoms and signs that persist despite the numbers telling them that they should be well. Establishing a diagnosis and working with the person to recover is an important part of my passion.
